Dream Diary is a proof of concept of an AI-supported reflective journaling app that helps users capture, structure, and explore their dreams while preserving emotional nuance and personal agency. Traditional journaling tools are static, text-heavy, and lack structured reflection, while fully generative AI risks over-interpreting deeply personal content. This system transforms raw voice or text entries into organized reflections, symbolic themes, and optional visualization prompts, without positioning AI as the authority. It demonstrates how AI can augment introspection and emotional wellness without replacing human meaning-making.
